Sunlight requirement for Hibiscus

Hibiscus prefers full sun, so choose a spot in your garden where it will receive minimum 4 to 6 hours of sunlight daily. Also try to give open space to hibiscus plant this will make sure every branch will get sunlight, if kept with multiple plants this will not allow hibiscus to get full sunlight and this may lead to get less flower.

Soil Requirement for Hibiscus

Make sure soil is well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral & rich in organic nutrients, select a big pot (10-12 inches) for better growth. Moist soil is always good for hibiscus plant, especially during hot days. 
No overwatering to be done as this may lead to fungus growth and plant may suffer illness. To retain moisture for long run apply mulch, this also retain temperature fluctuation in soil & keep soil moist for longer run.

Fertilizer requirement for hibiscus

We all love to see growth of hibiscus to give fertilizer timely, give balance and slow releasing fertilizer. Maintain shape by pruning hibiscus this will give you more flower and keep plant healthy.
Hibiscus generally get pest attack fast this can be avoided by watching hibiscus on daily basis and giving a water shower this will keep hibiscus healthy.

Winter care is very important as hibiscus love sunlight and this make plant dull because of not receiving excess sunlight so try to give maximum sunlight minimum requirement is 4 to 6 hours.

Mealybugs treatment for Hibiscus

Hibiscus generally get mealybug attack in summer and rainy season very fast in winter this attach is slow to keep eye on hibiscus plant for pest attack and giving shower daily, keep plant on any stand this will not allow ants to carry mealybug on hibiscus.

Generally hibiscus get other pest attack such as aphids and mites but this is very less and for small period of time so pest attack is very common on hibiscus plant. 

Solution for pest attack

Spray fresh water daily or add 2-3 drops of liquid soap in 1 ltr. of water mix it well and spray on affected area. We can also give neem oil spray on hibiscus plant this will make pest free for longer run to prepare this mix add 10 drops of neem oil in 1 ltr. of water and spray it on all plant.
