 Jade plant leaves falling off

Why do jade plant leaves fall off?
Jade plants are sun-loving plants i.e. outdoor plants generally nursery owners or online websites sell them as indoor plants but this is not the case. Jade plants love the sun very much and they are native plants of Africa and are loved by elephants. In Africa, they don't get enough water and full-day sun. This character of plants growing in full sunlight and getting less water is developed with the passing of years.

Why jade leaves fall:

If the jade plant is kept indoors for more than 2 days with no sunlight then within a week its leaves will start turning yellow and will fall off.
The second most common reason is if the jade plant is given more water then the situation is the same this will make our jade plant unhealthy. So what is the solution,

Solution

Always keep jade in full sunlight i.e. direct sunlight for a minimum of 3-4 hours of sun and give less water as it stores water in its leaves and stems. It is a succulent type of plant that makes them store water in itself for longer periods also they have a wax coating that doesn't allow water to evaporate easily from leaves and stems.
If you pluck the jade leaf and press then you will find that lots of water in store in it.

How to make jade bonsai

Jade is one of the most loved plants for bonsai makers as this plant has a high potential of taking the shape of bonsai. Growth of jade is also fast this allows the jade plant to take its shape very fast and a few bonsai shapes can be attained very fast such as formal upright, twin trunk, multiple trunks, cascade and many more

Soil mix

Soilmix also plays a vital role in keeping jade plants healthy. A sandy soil mix will give your jade a healthy dry environment. We can mix 50% sand 40% soil & 10% organic compost. Mixing sand in the soil will not allow water to hold for a longer period and this will not allow the fungus to grow and our jade will grow healthy.

Watering jade

We can give water daily if our soil is sandy and the plant is in sunlight for the full day. But if the plant is not in a location of sunlight then we have to give less water. In the winter season, we have to avoid giving less water because in the winter season, we have less sun and this will give a good growth of fungus to grow in the root system and this can be the main reason for leaves falling.

It looks the same as crassula ovata and generally in the nursery we get this plant as a jade plant but our jade plant has more growth and and can get bigger in shape and size.

Luck & Prosperity

We can also add a jade plant for our luck and prosperity keeping jade in a bright location will give a good growth and gowth is directly to our luck and wealth.
