How to make bougainvillea bonsai
Bougainvillea plants are simple and easy to make bonsai, as they grow very fast and do not require much care follow the steps and you will get the Beautiful Bougainvillea Bonsai
Making Bougainvillea Bonsai
1) Firstly buy a bougainvillea plant with at least a 2-3 inches thick stem or you can go for hunting of just take a thick trunk and cut or do an air layer this will make your task easy, so that you don't have to wait for the stem to grow mature and old as the thick stem will look good and an old impression will come to your bougainvillea bonsai making.
2) Now Take the big pot minimum of 12 inches and plant bougainvillaea in it for at least 5-6 months and let the bougainvillaea plant grow as much as it can grow bushy. This will allow roots to grow fast and to make bonsai we require more root systems, if we take a big pot this will make our bougainvillea plant grow fast and we can do pruning of unwanted branches if unneeded.
3) Think of the shape you want to give to your bougainvillaea plant i.e. umbrella shape, formal upright and many more.
4) After 5-6 months buy a bonsai pot & wire your bougainvillaea plant give the shape to the branches that have grown old and hope the branches have become thick now take out your bougainvillaea plant from the pot without damaging the roots.
5) Finally observe the bougainvillea plant & roots. if the roots are long enough cut them according to the bonsai pot you have brought.
6) Add the bonsai soil and place the bougainvillea plant in the pot, wait for a few more months and you will get the beautiful bonsai plant.
