Adenium Plant Special care in Monsoon season
Adenium are sun-loving plants they can survive even without sunlight for many days but in the monsoon season we get plenty of water and also it doesn't dry very fast so adenium plants require special care for the rainy season.
Special care for adenium plant:
1. Keep adenium in some shed condition to give control water.
2. Pruning must be avoided in monsoon season if it is necessary then you can do but after pruning we have to keep adenium in a dry environment.
3. Fertilizers can be given in the rainy season as adenium will grow in this monsoon season.
4. We can hang adenium in this season to avoid any fungal infection
5. Fungicide is very important as it will protect adenium plant roots and will save adenium caudex.
6. Reporting must not be done as this will lead to breakage of fibrous or short roots and this will lead to the growth of fungus which can harm the adenium plant.
Things to be done in the rainy season
Let the adenium plant get rainwater this is very essential for growth as rainwater contains lots of nitrogen in it this makes the plant grow fast and makes the adenium caudex grow bigger. Generally in wild adenium plants, the main source of water is rain water which they get once a year so giving rain water is necessary and keeping the plant in rain is also important.
Best Soil mix for Adenium Plant
Adenium plants can easily survive or they grow well in a well-drain soil mix. We have to make loose soil mix for this we have to add multiple items to make our adenium grow fast and healthy.
To make soil mixture we have to add:-
Garden soil 20%
Sand 50%
Compost 30%
Fungicide (1 tablespoon in a 10-inch pot and accordingly)
This soil mix is enough but if we want to make it a fancy soil mix then we can add perlite and clay ball and many other items available in the market above shown in bold letters will do best I myself use this and my adenium are growing very well and also on flowering.
