5 Plants that can survive without water
1. Snake Plant:
Snake Plants are the king of producing oxygen, as snake plants can survive in all, i.e., harsh to harsh sunlight or low to low light. Generally, snake plants are kept for oxygen-giving plants but can also survive in very low water conditions. Generally, snake plants require very little water i.e. every 5 days but in extreme conditions, they can survive for 15 days and this makes snake plants a king in the less water requirement category also it removes bad air from nearby surroundings
2. Adenium Plant:
Adenium plants are known for their water-holding capacity and they can easily survive without water for up to a month or more, the fun fact is adenium generally dies because of more water in comparison to less water given.
In the wild, they can survive or grow in desert roses and this type of climate of surroundings generally doesn't receive water or rain for 5-6 months even up to 9 months, so they have the special capacity to survive without water for the long run.
You can go out on vacation for more than 15 days and we don't have to worry about them even if taken out of the soil they can survive without water and soil for more than 1 month.
3. Money Plant:
Money plant is a hardy plant and can survive without water for up to 7 days if kept indoors and with suitable conditions. If grown in water then this is a fully different condition. But in soil money plants can survive from 4-7 days if the temperature is not hot enough and with proper good quality soil mix we can keep our money plant without water and can go for vacations.
4. Banyan Tree:
The Banyan tree is generally grown for its aerial roots for Bonsai and banyan tree can also grow without water for more than 10 days as its leaves and branches contain milk in it and this type of tree can grow without water in fewer water conditions they take water from branches and leaves.
All milk-producing trees/plants can grow without water for a minimum of 10-12 days.
5. Bougainvillea:
Bougainvillea is a plant that can grow without water and will also produce more flowers they are hardy plants and can survive without water for more than 5 days in extreme conditions for more than 15 days but they require water for survival.
If given more water it will produce more leaves and not flowers so if you want more flowers then you can give less water and have lots of bloom.
6. Aloe vera:
Aloe vera plants are very well-known for their medicinal properties and this plant can also survive without water for more than 1 month. Same as adenium they can even survive without water and soil. They generally store water in their leaves in the form of gell then we can use in many ways i.e. for medicine of for consumption.
