Indoor plants name itself says that plant require less sunlight or sometime they can survive even with no sunlight. Excess of sunlight will make plant uncomfortable and plants may suffer burning of leaves. Basic need for any plant is sunlight, water and air if any of three is missing then plant will not survive, so don't think that indoor means not at all giving light or air.
How much sunlight is needed ?
Indoor plant need minimum and filtered light of 1 to 2 hour, or if plant is kept near window then this is the best thing as plant will get enough light and also the air flow is good near window, so always choose the location near open place and also remember that if indoor plant given or kept in direct sunlight then survival rate will be zero because direct sunlight will burn all leaves and then plant.Best location for indoor plant
Location decides that plant will survive or not, so before buying the plant always see weather we have space for indoor plants or outdoor plants.North-East corner is best for indoor plants as plant will get bright morning light which is best for indoor plants. This doesn't means that other location is not good.
Water Requirement
Indoor plants water requirement is very less as they are in a cooler type of climate or environment, water them once a week or still we can skip maximum for 10 days so maintain the timing and the day for watering so that they can maintain the requirement if water and also stay healthy.Fertilizer for indoor plants
